Q: Are replays automatically posted?

A: Yes. Following a live webcast, if the Broadcaster chose to record it, the replay will automatically post after a short delay. Replays may be posted for unlimited viewing (option of the customer). In addition, replays may be set to hide immediately following a webcast or after an established time frame chosen by the customer. Replays may be set by the customer for downloads by the viewer. These downloads may be free or for purchase as set by the customer. Also, our system allows for a dvd purchase option.


Q: Can I produce a webcast without a chatbox?

A: Yes. Customers have the ability to turn the chat box on or off for any event.


Q: Can viewers post in the chat box while an event is not live?

A: Our chat box is set to open for comments 30 minutes prior to a scheduled webcast and close immediately upon ending the webcast. This feature does not allow users to post messages while the event is not being monitored by the admin.


Q: Do I need a high speed internet connection?

A: Yes. With that in mind, there are times when our customers produce webcasts from remote locations using a wireless internet card with their computer. A wireless Verizon or Sprint 3g or 4g internet device will produce a quality webcast. High Definition will require a faster connection.


Q: What is a chat box campaign?

A: Prior to a live webcast, a customer may set up special messages, sponsor ads, images, announcements, notifications, etc. to post within the chat box for a scheduled event. During the live webcast, our system will automatically post the uploaded text and images at predetermined time intervals within the chat box. This is a great way to create income for your organization with advertising opportunities for sponsors to showcase their products to a captive live audience as well as viewers of the archive for infinity. A Church could use the chat box campaign to automatically post announcements, prayer lists, encourage viewers to visit the Church, etc. You are only limited by your imagination with what you can do with the chat box campaigns !


Q: What services are offered during the trial period?

A: All services are available during the trial period. Your trial period is 30 days.


Q: How long are replays stored?

A: Your replays will be stored forever provided you have an active account with us. If you decide to cancel your account, we will remove your event replays from our servers.


Q: How are the proceeds distributed for my dvd/dowload/online store sales?

A: We charge a 10% transaction/handling fee for any download, DVD Sale, Pay-Per-Event, Online Store, etc. sale you generate using our integrated payment system. We will forward you a check, which generally happens by the 10th of the month following the month the sale(s) took place in. The check will be for the total of the previous month's sales less the 10% transaction/handling fee. You do have the option to setup your own Paypal website payments pro account. If you elect to do so, all proceeds will go directly into your account in real-time with no transaction charges from us.


Q: Can viewers receive notifications when replays are posted?

A: Yes. There is a short delay following a webcast before the replay posts. Viewer may enter their email address to receive notification when the replay posts.


Q: Can I embed the live viewer on our existing Church website?

A: Absolutely !! Though it is very easy to link your custom broadcast site to your existing Church website, we can also provide to you the HTML code necessary for your website manager to easily embed our live viewer on your existing site.

Q: What makes your service different from other online streaming service providers?

A: Our system is a simple yet sophisticated product that allows the customer to produce webcasts with a unique url specific to the entity and customizable website. Our webcasts are free from advertisements found on many of the free streaming service providers. A customer of our service, can however, sell their own ads through the system we have designed for their own monetary benefit if they choose to do so. Our system features options such as: private events, downloads of events for free or purchase, dvd sales of events, integrated chatbox, chatbox campaigns, pre-roll videos for special messages and advertising opportunities, automatic archives, pay per-view-options, and many more. If we don't have a needed feature, we will build it for you.


Q: Can I use my own domain name for my custom web site?

A: Yes, provided that domain name is not already in use by someone else. As part of the account setup form you will provide the domain name you want to use and we will take it from there. Once your account is set up, everything will be in place to begin webcasting from that domain name.


Q: What is my custom web site?

A: Your custom web site is where viewers go to view your live webcasts, upcoming events, and replays. You can upload a custom banner that will appear on the top of the web page. Your existing website can link directly to you live webcasting site. Visit EAW LIVE to see a live school site and Eastern Star Live to visit one of our churches.

Q: What kind of pricing plans do you offer?

A: We have recently consolidated our plans into a one price fits all plan designed for Churches. Our monthly price for Churches is $99/mth and is an unlimited plan. Unlimited events and replays. Never worry about us running out of room for your archived videos. Please take a moment to visit the Plans page for all of the details. If you are an entity not described above such as a School, City, or other Brand, don't worry, we still want to help you!! Due to the seasonal nature and demands of the aforementioned entity types, we will work with you on a Custom project to help accommodate your streaming needs. Contact us to discuss the details of your needs and we will work something out with you for your Custom project.


Q: Is there a service contract?

A: Yes. The contract term is month-to-month between you, the user, and yourstreamlive.com (ysl LLC).


Q: Can I cancel at anytime?

A: Yes. You are free to cancel your service anytime. Our billing cycle is the 1st day of the month through the last day of the month. Your account will officially terminate the last day of the month you cancel. We do not issue refunds for unused service.


Q: Do you accept payment methods other than credit card?

A: Yes. We accept checks paid monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Please contact us for more information regarding payment options.


Q: Do I have to provide a payment method to take advantage of the 30 Day Free Trial?

A: NO !! We require absolutely no credit card, or billing info in advance of you trying out our service free for 30 days !!


Setup


Q: What is the setup process?

A: The first step is to fill out our signup web page. Once your account is activated, you will receive an email with your login credentials. Now you are ready to setup your webcasting computer and stream a test event. You will then have 30 days to webcast real events and test out the entire system. When your 30 day trial is complete or at anytime during your trial period, simply upgrade your account from your Admin Dashboard by providing us with payment information or call us to setup manual payment arrangements for the $99 per month.

Q: What type of technical support come with this service?

A: We are here to help you through the initial setup and beyond. Following setup, we will continue to offer unmatched customer service. We will answer the phone when you need our help and we can even offer Remote Support by logging into your computer and troubleshooting when we need to. We also offer email support and have private community forums where you can post questions to your support team and also communicate with other users. We pride ourselves on good old fashioned Customer Service. Technical Support is free and always available to you as long as you are a customer of ours !!

Technology


Q: What kind of equipment do I need to produce a webcast?

A: Simply put: A computer, a camera, and a high speed land or mobile internet connection and you're good to go!! Generally any computer that is less than a few years old is generally acceptable. On occasion, depending on what kind of video connection your computer has or maybe better put, doesn't have, you may need an inexpensive adapter for the computer to receive the signal from the camera.


Q: Do I need any special software to connect to your service?

A: Our system utilizes a free piece of software from Adobe called Flash Media Encoder, or sometimes referred to as FME. We will have you download this during your setup process. When you desire to upload a previously recorded video to our servers any FTP client will work, but we recommend FileZilla , which is also free, and we will have you download this when you attempt your first upload of a previously recorded video.
